A mother's love is pure and true

A love that's deep and ever new

From the moment of our birth

She's been there for us on this earth


She holds us close when we are small

And picks us up when we may fall

Her arms are open wide and strong

A place where we always belong


She nurtures us with tender care

And comforts us when we despair

She guides us through life's ups and downs

With a smile that erases all frowns


She is our rock, our shining light

A beacon that guides us through the night

She gives us strength and helps us grow

Her love is a constant flow


We may not always say it loud

But we are grateful and proud

For the woman who gave us birth

And who will always be our mother, dearth


So let us honor her each day

And thank her in our own special way

For all the love and sacrifice
